Biographical Information

[teddy bear] (8k)
Cal--Go Bears.
(That's the most school spirit anyone's ever going to get out of me.)
  • Date of Birth : July 7, 1978
  • Birthplace : Hartford, Connecticut, United States
  • Home Town : Fremont, California, United States
  • Occupation : Software engineer, dorkus malorkus
  • College : University of California at Berkeley, B.S. Electrical Engineering and Computer Science

I was born in Hartford, Connecticut on my parents' wedding anniversary. When I was three years old, my family moved to Sydney, Australia, where I spent the next two years, completely forgetting how to speak Chinese. After staying in Australia, my family moved to Chelmsford, Massachusetts, where I lived for six years and learned grammar--New England style. When I was in the middle of the sixth grade, my family moved to Fremont, California, where I've lived since.

Chess -- I have a provisional USCF rating of 1430, which happens to be the approximate number of days since I've last played a rated game.

Doodling -- With my remarkably short attention span, I tend to doodle an enormous amount. Some of it turns out occasionally to be decent, though most of it turns out to be rubbish.
