More dragons, doodled between people’s presentations during a VMware R&D conference in December, 2007.
(I really need to start drawing other things. Or I at least need to stop drawing disembodied heads all the time.)
A showcase of my craptacular writing and art.

A birthday card I made with Corrie in 1996 for Michael Feng, teddy bear nut. I sketched out the main parts and the poem title in pencil, and Corrie inked it, colored it, and did all of the other lettering. (In other words, she did all of the time-consuming parts.)
The eyes ended up inverted; I meant for them to be black with white glints (but who am I to question Corrie’s artistic judgment?). I think the way it came out, though, does give the bear some more personality as he tries to avert his eyes from the horrors inflicted upon him.
More ambigrams, this time of coworkers’ names:
I’ve discovered that John Langdon is releasing a second edition of his WordPlay book which has a new section about how to create ambigrams. I’m slightly annoyed since I already own the first edition, and it’s signed and personalized, so I can’t exactly sell it or give it away. Well, at least my first edition is a hardcover.
A themed collection of various pencil doodlings:
(Don’t forget to scroll to the right.)
I am feeling better than I was a few weeks ago, though.
Bleah. I guess I’m feeling narcissistic. Variations of my ambigram:
On a related note, other ambigram sites I’ve come across:
John Langdon’s ambigram site inspired me to try to make ambigrams of my name and of some of my friends’ names.
Most of those could be refined quite a bit more.
